Hearmber
Hear the current tone, then guess: is the next one higher or lower? Keep the streak alive.
About Hearmber — tracking pitch up and down
Hearmber trains relative pitch tracking — judging whether each new tone is higher or lower than the one before it, over a long run. Hearing the direction a line moves is how you follow the rise and fall of a melody and sense the moment it changes course.
Hear the current tone, then call the next one: higher or lower. Every correct guess extends your streak and one miss ends it, so steadiness counts as much as sharpness. The longer you last, the closer the tones become, making a long streak a real test of your ear.
Up or down is the simplest pitch judgment, and it rests on hearing pitch clearly. Our guide to what pitch is explains the sensation of high and low. Explore all our ear-training guides to learn more.
