About Heardrift — holding a pitch steady
Heardrift trains pitch stability — noticing when a sustained tone starts to wander and nudging it back on centre. Holding a pitch steady is exactly what a singer does on a long note and what a string or wind player does to keep a sustained tone from sliding sharp or flat.
A live tone drifts up and down on its own. Use the up and down controls to keep it inside the target zone. Three rounds speed up, so your corrections have to get quicker and finer.
