Hearkle is built by one independent developer, so replies are best-effort — but a real message always gets a real answer.
Is Hearkle free? Yes. The daily games and every guide are free forever. Optional paid tiers only add progress tracking and teacher tools — the games themselves are never behind a paywall.
Do I need an account? No. There is no sign-up and no login — just open a game and play. Nothing you do ever leaves your device.
Where does my data go? It stays in your browser. No server stores your scores, and there is no tracking beyond consent-gated, anonymous analytics you can switch off.
